Day 8 - The Dead Sea

The Dead Sea (Hebrew: Yam HaMavet - 'Sea of Death') is at the lowest point on earth.  Its depths reach even deeper as its lowest point is nearly 1000 feet deep.


The Dead Sea is particularly popular with tourists as its minerals are described to be very good for the skin.  It is also a lot of fun because the water is so viscous that you cannot actually sink in it.  Instead you simply just float.  And float we did:
